My father-in-law, the same one that made this cabinet for me, made a bunch of wood churches recently. I was a lucky recipient of one of them :). So, today I got out some paint and finished it and gave it a rustic look. I LOVE it! Do you?

Video Monitor

I have been told that I shouldn't live without one. I survived with a regular one with Avery but I am really tempted to invest in a video monitor this time around since I know I am going to be even more tired this go-round so any extra second of rest I can savor, I will!

So, I have done a little shopping around but I have no idea which one to go with. Not only that, but they are much more expensive than I expected! If anyone has any suggestions on which one to get, I would greatly appreciate it!! As of right now, I am looking at this one:

It's Official

We've decided that "Griblet 2" will be named Norah Kinsley. It took us a while to decide if we wanted the "h" on the end but Jeff really liked it and I could go either way, so we decided to keep it. We also had a long list of middle names but Kinsley was always our favorite. We really love this name; I hope she does, too!

The Kelly Moore Ju-Ju Bag!
I lost out on the Billingham on Ebay today but I am not too upset because after researching some more I found this one on Kelly Moore's site. It's her largest bag so I should have lots of growing room in it. Unfortunately, it is out of stock till May, so I will have to wait but that's ok, because I am asking for $ for my birthday to help out with the cost. I can't wait!!
Now, will it be "walnut" or "teal"?

Our New Hiding Spot

Under the dining room table... She started climbing several weeks ago so this was an ideal location for a little person to hide! Now we are working on learning to get down without busting it!

P.S. excuse the crazy hair. We are going through a no hair bow/hair tie/clips phase!

On The Hunt

I am currently searching for a new camera bag. Since I only do photography as a hobby I have a VERY small inventory of accessories and only 1 lens for my camera. I hope that as time goes on I can slowly built up my collection.
While online shopping I noticed that I had about 3 choices.
1. A cheap, not so attractive, but functional black bag. BORING!
2. A super cute, stylish, trendy and colorful bag from one of these fun sites

3. Or, a timeless, classy bag with lots of pockets. This is obviously the choice I am going with.
Although I love some of the bags above, and they may be cooler, I tend to shop for items like this on the "safe side." If I am going to invest a lot of money into something I want it to last me a long time.
I fell in love with this one, below. Although it is not as trendy, pretty, a bright fun color, etc, I think it is one that will grow with me as a photographer with lots of pockets and never go out of style.

The downside: The website has it listed for 466.67 pounds (the equivilant of $749.89) YIKES!! True to my taste, I find and pick the most expensive bag possible!

What to do?? Find it on ebay! I am biding on one now but it lasts another week so I doubt I will win for the amount I am willing to go up to.
I continued to shop around for something that could be a backup. I have found this one but the colors seem a little off (it comes in khaki, black, and green) and it's a canvas bag vs leather, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper, so it may be a good choice.

I still really like the Dre Hartmann above but it's smaller and has limited pocket space, but it may be in the running, also.
