Wow! What a rollercoaster! First, Avery got Jaundis which meant 3 trips to the doc and hospital for blood tests. It's a really wierd feeling being a mom when you are told "I'm going to send you to the hospital for some tests." I know Jaundis is normal and fixable but my heart still raced, my eyes watered up when they drew her blood each time, and my nerves were shot waiting for the results. Thank God it went down without having to put her under those special lights.
We've had some issues trying to figure out how and what to feed her but I think it's settling down now.
My mom and dad, aka Nanna, and Pappy left this morning. It was really hard! I'm going to miss her help so much. I know we are going to be fine but it's been a special bonding time.
So, as I sit here with Avery in my arms, there's laundry to do, floors to clean, beds to make, but they are going to have to wait. I'm going to have to accept that house chores are just going to take a lot longer. Luckily I have a wonderful husband who has done a lot of the house work for me.
Now... To look forward to sleep... Maybe in a few years. Lol

Let me know if you want me to come and help! I don't have anything going on tomorrow :).
If you are an Olympic lover (like me), I find it is great TV for late night/early morning feedings when the pickings are otherwise slim, and I was usually too sleepy myself to read. Have fun with that beautiful new baby girl.
