So, after a great girls day full of shopping, brunch, and lots of laughter, I came home and immediately (like most days) went to check on the progress of my vegetables.... this is when I found this: This was my FIRST tomato! I was so excited that I finally had one turning red, but obviously something got to it first! :( What a disappointment... I guess I am going to have to build a cage... or maybe a trap! lol
I got my Sushi fix for a while! Jeff is never too sure about the stuff, but he is always a good sport. I can't get enough. It was a beautiful night so drinks with Tim and Allyson on the rooftop of Tsunami's with a view of the Mississippi River just topped it off. :)
I knew someone would grab Susan Boyle as soon as she walked off the stage! She has unveiled a new look with some hair dye and a new outfit. She is so very modest and confident. Check out what she has to say here. Even if she doesn't win the show, she is destined for an amazing career.
I just finished "New Moon". Part 2 of the Twilight series. I can't stand it! Is Edward going to turn Bella into a vampire, or not?! I guess I will have to start "Eclipse" (Part 3) tonight...
I think that people in the advertising world these days have to be on crack or something! Just these two commercials are enough to prove it! Gotta laugh, though. They served their purpose and made you remember them.
Romans 1: 16-17 "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith.""
"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders...will inherit the kingdom of God."
1 Corinthians 7:20 "You were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body"
Last Wednesday I went to a Tea Party here in Mandeville, LA. It was the most moving, exciting, informing, eye-opening, and political thing I have ever done! I only took a few pictures (you can find them on facebook), but I found this video of the one from The Woodlands where my family went and it is done really well, so I thought I would share. I hope you enjoy!
