The Little Gym

Avery’s First Haircut
Norah 2 Months
24.25 inches long- 95% class
She's a big girl and only getting bigger... fast!
~Smiles A LOT! I feel like 2 months is really early to be getting so many smiles, but I am not going to complain at all. I love them!
~she can focus a lot better but still not 100%
~we work on tummy time once or twice a day. she does ok but gets tired of it pretty fast
~wakes up about twice a night. Normally around 1 or 2 am then again around 6
~very ticklish. That's when I can get lots of those pretty smiles. I almost got a laugh, once, too!
Norah 1 Month
~starting to become more aware. She spent most of her first month sleeping; day in and day out. I had to set my alarm at night to get her up to eat. Not many moms can say that! Needless to say she is so easy!
~lifts her head.
~Rolls to her side. She doesn't get too far but she likes to tuck her knees in and lean over. Great start!
P.S. so I was just going through my notes and I found this under my list of Norah's developments:
"says first word=Tim"
Someone was playing on my computer! lol Thanks for the little addition Mr. Tim! We will make sure she works on your name asap! haha
Ella’s 1 Year Old!
My niece, Ella is one year old already! She is such a sweet baby. We love you Sweet Pea! :)
Circle of Neglect
Norah can now sit in her entertainer (aka the "circle of neglect" since babies get put in these things so that mom can get something done). She loves it and really doesnt need the red booster seat thingy. just one little towel on her side and she's good.
look at that smile!
Look at that hair! lol
Mirrors and Hair bows
Avery's bathroom in our new house has a counter that she can actually see over while on her step stool (Our previous house had abnormally high counters which were nice for us tall folks but not for little ones). Anyhoo... she loves to play with her hair bows, headbands, and clips and comes to tell me that she is "pretty" while wearing every possible one she can get on her head! lol
Shirts.. Who Needs ‘em?
We are going through the "run around the house naked" phase.
I don’t even put a shirt on Avery in the morning unless we are going out in public since it comes off first thing and I can't keep it on her. Yesterday, she figured out how to take her diaper off... not good!
Norah’s Baptism
We had just a small little ceremony at my parents lake house with just immediate family, with the pastor from my home church, and my grandma, since we were in limbo moving from Louisiana to Houston. It was perfect... besides the fact that Avery screamed through the whole service because she didnt want to sit down (who wants to sit down when you could be swimming or running around the lot?! lol)
Oh! and what is even cooler is that the pedestal table that we used was made by my dad in a shop class when he was in about 5th grade or so and the bowl he made just before the baptism just for Norah. She gets to keep the bowl and since my grandma keeps the pedestal table at her house, she said she will make sure that Norah gets it one day! How awesome! :)
